Bye Bye!

Hello everyone! I finally made a decision to stop blogging. Since we now live by my parents and do a lot of things with the family, more often than not I would be posting the same things Joylin would be posting about anyways. Thank you for taking time to look at my blog when I would finally get around to posting! God bless you all.

Moving and Pool Time

Long story short... Micah and I have recently moved up by my family. Micah is working with Daddy and the boys while I get to help Mama with the housework and gardening.
It's easy to move when we can just bring in the slides and pull our house down the road. :)
My parents have their pool set up and Micah David got to get in for the first time. He absolutely LOVED it!

The sweet little smile that met me when I glanced in to see if he was sleeping. :)

He loves his ball!

Successful Hunt

I know pretty crazy, huh? No posts for way over a month and then I post two on the same day!! I think I need to even this out a bit. But I gave you some pictures of my sweet little guy so now I get to give you a picture of my sweet big guy. ;) I was so happy for him this morning when he called in 5 coyotes and got 2 of them before they all took off.
Awesome job, my love! :-)

Growing, Growing and Growing Some More!

Our little guy is growing up so fast! He's almost 3 months and is now over 14 lbs..

We are loving his coos and grins! What joy a little life can bring!!

I love how he stretches and stretches after he wakes up. :)

He hasn't rolled totally over yet but he came very, very close to it the other day so it won't be long.

We Now Have More Space!!

Living in a fifth wheel there just never seems to be quite enough space. We have a small shed but we have our washer and freezer in there and also Micah's big toolbox, so there's not a whole lot of space left. I started looking on craigslist and found a really good deal on a shed. The outside needs a good paint job but the inside looks real nice. We used Micah's parents truck and trailer and went to pick it up last night.

Being quite tall it was a bit top heavy which ment driving very slowly. 35mph was about the fastest we could go. After 2 1/2 hours we breathed a sigh of relief as we pulled in the drive. Thank the Lord we made it safely. Thank you Philip for all your help!

We haven't had the time to unload it but hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about getting to move some things out of our house and making more space! :)

When little boys...

...get tired they can sleep almost anywhere and at any time.
This week I was taking pictures of Micah David, trying to get a good one for his birth announcement.

As you can see he started to get just a bit sleepy and then..

..out he went. Floating off to dreamland right in the middle of our photo shoot. :)

I wanted to keep him there to get a picture of him sleeping but he kept falling to the side...

...or his head kept tilting forward.

He seems to be enjoying this. ;)

My little chunk of sugar. :) Pictures can wait till later. This little guy needs his sleep.

Our Little Pride and Joy!

As you all most likely know by now, our home has been blessed with a beautiful baby boy! Micah David is a precious reminder of how marvelous our Creator is! What a miracle!!

I'm sure you already know all about him and have seen pictures of him on the blog my sister keeps, stritefamily.blogspot.com, so I won't repost the pictures that you've already seen. These are just a few recent ones that I took that I thought you might enjoy.

He really enjoys the moby wrap, especially when he's sleepy.

Three weeks old. What a handsome little man. :)

Just about to sneeze. :)

Jack's House

Micah decided Jack needed a better shelter from the cold, blustery days we've having than his little hollow in the yard was giving him.
So he built him a dog house.

What my talented husband can't do! It's amazing how he can do anything he puts his hands to doing.

Taking a break. :) He was actually screwing up some boards from the inside.

Jack is really enjoying it and started using it as soon as he was finished with it.

Getting Ready For Winter

Yes, I know it's not winter yet, but our nights have been getting pretty cold here of late reminding us that it's just around the corner. Micah and I wanted a different option for heating our little trailer this winter as last winter we had quite a bill between a propane furnace and an electric heater. Thanks to Daddy and Mama we came across a small wood stove, just the right size for keeping us warm this winter.

It was quite rusted when we first got it. Micah took it apart piece by piece and refinished it. Here he is finished with the legs and flue.

Micah busy working while Jack is busy watching.

After Micah did a really good job of refinishing it we finally got to put it in!

Working at putting the stove pipe on.

Our little chimney.
Finishing putting all the little pieces back on.

We're planning on putting up fireproof board on the wall around it to give the wall a little bit more protection. We decided to give it a try this morning and it wasn't long till it was giving out a nice steady heat. So much better feeling than a furnace or electric heater!

Pics From An Awesome Weekend

This past weekend Micah and I went with my family to Matthew & Hannah Beiler's wedding. I didn't take many pictures except for the last evening that we were there, but I got a few good ones I thought I would share.

The Bride and Groom! Thanks to Joylin for a few of these pictures. :)

The wedding party.

Micah and I were glad to be able to help out as punch servers.

Here are some of the families we had the privilege of being with over the weekend! What a fun time and what memories having us all back together again! This is the Beiler family not including the married ones.

The Coffey family, minus Hannah who happened to be on her honeymoon. :)

The Nissely family.

The David Beiler family.

Mark and Linda (Beiler) Wadell and family.

A few more Strites! Too bad the whole family wasn't able to come but we really enjoyed getting to be with Donita, Delores and Darlis again. :)

Future Dutch Blitz champions right here. :)

The boys conquering a game of Catan. Congrats to my sweetheart for winning!
Some of the girls playing a game... not sure what this one was called.

Sweet little Kaiti. :)
Wow, what a crowd. The more the merrier, right?! This is all the single youth.

The girls...

...and the boys. It's still so hard to imagine how much everyone has grown up! How time does fly!

Tyler and Justin, partners in crime, not really. :) Just two real good buddies.
Uh oh, I think some guys are getting into a goofy mood....

What ideas they don't come up with.... i guess that's what makes them so interesting and fun. :)

The Four Man Pushup.

Long time friends!! Maria Beiler and I.

We miss all you guys and can't wait till we get to see you all again!!
